Sharon Mustard founded Easibirthing® in conjunction with local UK midwifes and has achieved global recognition. It is an advanced training only available to qualified Hypnotherapists who wish to support individuals in the specialist areas of pregnancy and childbirth.

Childbirth has the potential to be one of the most powerful and positive experiences in a woman’s life. My mission is to help women approach their impending births with calmness, confidence, and control!

Pregnancy is a beautiful stage in a women’s life with the anticipation of new life and joyful experiences. Having a baby is life changing but parenthood welcomes a time for growth and achievement.
 
Alongside the celebration of new life women can often experience feelings of huge responsibility and apprehension around the impending birth of a newborn.
 
These worries are very common and our brains way of preparing and protecting us for any major life event, we will naturally feel some unease and anxiety.

My Experience

Hypnobirthing was not commonly used back when I delivered my own sons, but I instinctively knew that my mental wellbeing would play an important role in each of their births.

Having regularly practiced Yoga I used the techniques I had learnt over the years and self-taught myself breathing techniques so I could keep calm and in control during each birth. This lead to one of my greatest achievements of calmly delivering my 10lb baby boy into the world, in my own home in just a few hours. I attribute this wonderful experience to a relaxed, focused state of mind and body.

How does it work?

Within my role as an experienced Hypnotherapist I offer a complete birth preparation course to couples or solo mothers looking for a smooth transition into parenthood.
